What is the Feminine energy?
“A woman’s highest calling is to lead a man to his soul, so as to unite him with Source. A man’s highest calling is to protect a woman, so she is free to walk the earth unharmed.” (Cherokee Proverb)
It became clear after publishing the article on the observation and reflections of the swan dance that the Masculine energy was far more easier and defined to write about and observe. It immediately invited exploration around the Feminine energy some more, wanting to focus and bring forth how this energy expresses, is recognised and what it brings in and is… What is the Masculine making and holding space for exactly for his Feminine counterpart? What exactly is she bringing here in her more subtle, ethereal, surrendering, nurturing way of being…? This invitation to explore more might be touching on something straight away as to why it wasn’t so easy or clear to write about and observe; posing the question – is the Feminine energy easy and clear to define? The Feminine is a receiving energy by nature, changeable, more ethereal and in touch with the feeling of emotions; can the journeying of this expression be easily seen in a day-to-day way? It can be clearly observed when in an expression of an emotion and how this translates in experience, but how about in the feeling realm and the continual navigation of this… is this as easy to witness on an everyday, practical level as the more 3d Masculine way? Or even, is the Feminine dominant expression a seen thing? Or is it more a felt thing? This then brings forth the question- does the world provide the space for the Feminine to be seen fully even in the first place? Or is the world designed in a more Masculine way therefore making it easier to recognise and see the Masculine expression? And how does this allow for both energies to be expressed and even recognised and therefore appreciated fully?
The Masculine is an obvious strength, physically stronger generally and in energy has a strength that is more tangible, holding a penetrative, entering presence when in its natural energetic standing. Generally, in nature, being in 3d presence in a deeper tone of voice, naturally providing and protecting, more likely to be mind-orientated and practical. This is simply more definable and recognised in a 3d way. The left-brain way of expression is in a more logical, linear, practical way, whereas the right-brain offers a creative, emotional, ethereal way of expression. Of course each human has both the left and right brain and has access to both of these expressions and of course they are both used. Also, more energetically in understanding, referring to the yin and yang symbol for reference in explanation, we of course have both the inner Masculine and inner Feminine energetic expression, however, in our human form we do have one more dominant energy that we hold and express in.
In reference to the quote at the top; why would the Masculine role be to protect so that the Feminine can walk the Earth unharmed?…what is the protection for? How does a Feminine connect a Masculine to their soul? What is the Feminine energy naturally connecting with in order to do this? Do we actually know what the Feminine energy is fully doing or even capable of?… In an everyday way maybe we do touch on these realms, i.e. woman syncing in their menstrual cycles, experiencing mood swings, feeling hormonal, having intuitions etc what does this all even mean? Is there a gift in all of this that is maybe being overlooked…? If it can be seen at all. There is strength in the Feminine but not in the same way as the Masculine… If the proverb above is true, then what an incredible strength; the Feminine can connect a Masculine to their soul!!! Navigating and weaving the unseen, energetic realms; no wonder they need their Masculine counterpart to hold and protect the space. The Feminine energy is not Masculine and therefore shouldn’t be expected to have to show-up in this expression, for example, the Masculine body is physically stronger and designed in a different way to hold a more physical strength, but arguably woman are able to feel on a deeper level and navigate the emotional realm; this takes absolute strength! This is not saying that woman do not have physical strength and men don’t have emotional strength, they do, but in different ways; woman give birth, this is incredible physical strength. Both energies hold immense strength but in their own expressions, one is not better than the other, although one maybe needed more in certain circumstances and the other more useful in a different situation.
How can space be provided for a Feminine energy to shine through without projections, programming and conditions, no expectations of how this should look and be? How about as it is, in fullness, even if it appears changeable, wild, too much, too mysterious, too gentle, subtle and illogical. All these expressions are all valid and significant even if not understood in a 3d, logical way. How can the Feminine energy truly be understood? Can the Feminine expression be truly recognised if the inner Feminine within us all has not yet been met? Does a surrendering have to happen in order to innerstand what it is to be a receiving energy? I feel the answer is yes, however, it would be experienced differently between the two dominant energy expressions. When observing nature today I started off seeing that the Masculine and Feminine expression are both unique in their forms initially, but then I started to see that one cannot be fully without the other, and that as the dance of both become more intricate and subtle it can be seen and felt that both interact and serve in being for themselves and each other, and it isn’t about one or the other and ultimately in creation, it is about both, together!
If the design of the world at this time doesn’t support the expression or understanding of the Feminine energy, then how are women expected to know fully who they are in their natural expression without the conditioning? With this in mind it seems too easy to take on a more Masculine way because of having this as the main recognised, understood and possibly more accepted experience currently within the collective. One energy cannot be in its fullest without the other, they are actually unique expressions but within the same dance…. We need both to be in our fullest within and without. I do not believe it is of fault of men or woman, it is just a misguidance of media influence and too much external programming and conditioning that has brought us to here. It is of no fault of the Masculine that the Feminine is not in full authentic expression because it is the current collective evolution within humanity, and there is confusion it feels, even within the authentic expression of the Masculine energy. We know deep deep down in our being the truth of expression and Unity dance and it is slowly, gently emerging at this time and what a beautiful birthing this is. Trust, trust, trust. I love you in your truth and thank you for being here, in curiosity, as you are.
N.B. To note here that although the majority of Masculine energy expression is within a male body and the Feminine energy is within a female body and to make it simple whilst writing I do refer to him/he for the Masculine and her/she when referring to the Feminine, but ultimately they are words for the energy expression and doesn’t always apply to a particular gender, as a man can have a more dominant Feminine energy and a woman can be a Masculine energy expression.
